A reincarnation of German-Czech brass music popular in Texas. "German" Oktoberfests, found all over the United States, and especially in the Hill Country surrounding Fredericksburg, are reenacted. The "Wurstfest" in New Braunfels is indisputably the best. The stars of the "Wurstfest" include the Sauerkrauts as well as the legendary Polka Cola and Shiner Beer.
